Identify the events that took place in kansas as a result of the passage of the kansas-nebraska act.

It lead to pro and anti-slavery elements to flood in to Kansas with the goal of voting up or down for  slavery. which lead to violent civil confrontation, better known as ''Bleeding Kansas."
