Why were those people called nomads

They were nomadic. They moved in search of food, resources and shelter.

They were called Nomads because they were constantly on the move the did not have a home land. Nomads were always moving their homes every where they are like campers that just never find a place to settle down.

monarchy doesn’t have to have the hereditary element. there have been elective monarchies in the past where you choose your king-for-life and when he dies elect someone else for the job.
