Domestication of camels in the West Africa helped the transportations of goods and primary resources from a city to another.

Due to the Camel anatomy they can walk long distance without the need of water because the collect the necessary water in their humps, they also have heat and dust resistant paws.  which was a good advantage over other animals for transportation.

Camels life's expectation is around 40 to 45 years which was also another advantage for transportation uses.
