Ramses 2 presided over an era of prosperity in new kingdom

Ramses II was the pharaoh of Egypt from (1279 BC - 1213 BC), he was a great builder in his time as a pharaoh:

- the enlargement of the temple of ABIDOS

- the extension of the AMON temple

- the RAMESSEUM funeral temple.

- The temple and NUBIA among others.

Ramses II was, bad with his people, he did not like to be given orders, he was tyrant and cruel.

Ramses II in spite of his tyranny took Egypt to its maximum splendor, contributed to the great image of Egypt also favored literature, science and achievement to excel in politics and military
