The Mongol leader, Temudzin, better known as Genghis Khan, did not planed to attack the Islamic Caliphates, but instead he wanted to have nice relation with them and trade with them. When he saw what was done to them, Genghis Khan was furious, and he unleashed most of his horde in attack, and gave them the order to kill, rob, and burn, and that what they did, and totally destroyed the Islamic Caliphates, putting an end to the Islamic Golden Age.
