It would be "Utilitarians" who would be most likely to be sympathetic with the idea of reducing the disparities of income in society, since they believe that the most morally true option is often the most beneficial for society at large. 

These islands/chinampas then provided rich soil for crops with easy access to water. i hope this is correct, im so sorry if its not !
