The government needs to provide public goods for what reason answers

The main reason why a public good is provided by the government is essentially because  it cannot effectively prevent a non-paying person from using the good and because the marginal cost of providing another unit is zero. This implies that the goods can not be priced at a market equilibrium.some of these public goods are also very expensive for the private sector. In addition, some public goods are very sensitive to be left into the hands of the private sector.
