A person who is undergoing teen pregnancy is endangering her body in so many levels. This is because the bones are not yet fully developed to support the growing fetus, particularly the hip bones. When a person is pregnant the bones of the hips open to accommodate the growth of the placenta within the abdomen. Young girls have not yet matured fully in their physical traits which makes pregnancy extra dangerous compared to older women. This is the reason why many teens die from giving birth.
