Good places to find medically accurate advice can start from your school or from your family doctor. Many schools offer counselors and psychologists, and trusted teachers can often point students in the best direction. Many communities have clinics and mental health centers where individuals can seek out help as well. Some communities also offer alcohol and drug counseling.
