How does eating help us maintain homeostasis? what does our body do or respond to it externally and internally?

Eating helps us maintain homeostasis because when we eat we are taking in a wide variety of nutrients to keep our body at balance. Internally we respond to homeostasis by all the nutrients we took in being separated to parts of the body they can help maintain and by getting rid of waste in our bodies. Externally we respond to homeostasis by noticing foods and other resources that can keep our body at balance.

a problem could be dealing witj emotional stress..all of these factors contribute to emotional stress.

a. steroid--> influences moods in the limbic system

b. inhalant--> dissolves fatty tissue in the brain

c. marijuana--> changes how the hippocampus processes sensations
