A G2P1 at 38 weeks gestational age presents to the ER at 1:00 AM with complaints of decreased fetal movements over the last 3-4 hour period. She states that after emptying her bladder and returning to bed she noticed a small gush of vaginal fluid leaking down her leg. She states that the fluid was clear and colorless and denied foul odor. She states that the irregular tightenings she usually feels every evening were absent tonight, and she currently feels no discomfort at all in her uterus.
