A DOSE OF SELF-AWARENESS Mmakgosi Boingotio, a Tswana speaking Grade 10 learner obtained a scholarship to
study at a prestigious Afrikaans medium school called 'Academy of Excellence'.
Mmakgosi lives in an informal settlement where the most basic amenities are
lacking. Since her mother was unemployed and her father unknown to her, life was
difficult. She attached great importance to hard work, honesty and respect. She
worked very hard at her new school and produced good results. Her self-knowledge
and self-esteem drove her to achieve remarkable success in netball and academics.
She soon became very popular in her new school. She matriculated four years later
with a Bachelor's pass and went on to obtain a Degree in Sports Science.

  living a healthy lifestyle that incorporates good nutrition, weight management and getting plenty of physical activity can play a big role in avoiding cad.
