1. I believe there has been an increase of numbers of new or emerging diseases, because people spread germs like there's no tomorrow because humans are super unsanitary.

2. What can be done to address the problem of emerging or re-emerging diseases is that people can be more sanitary, make sure to constantly wash their hands, wear a mask, social distancing, using hand sanitizer, not going out if your sick, and occasionally seeing a doctor and getting a check-up.
