What do scrubbers in factories and catalytic converters in vehicles have in common? They both clean pollutants out of emissions using a spray of water droplets. They both cause more pollutants to be released into the air. They both convert pollutants into other chemicals, which are healthier to breathe. They both reduce the amount of harmful pollution that enters the air.​
