In my life I have lost two of my only best friends and it was my fault. They either thought I was toxic or selfish.. and I corrected myself. But now I refuse to let anyone get close to me again, not wanting a best friend or even a good friend worried it'd grow to a bestie. Is this a trust issue thing? Or am I selfish?
