Give five reasons why the teen years seem filled with peril to parents.

Some most common problems that teenagers face today are as follow:

-Academic Problems

-Bullying

-Depression

-Peer Pressure

-Cyber Addiction

Explanation:

Teenagers face many problems. During these years, teens have external and internal conflicts associated with both social and physiological (hormonal) changes. Parents need to build an atmosphere of honesty and should respect their teens since they are searching for validation all the time. Creating an environment of open communication may be fundamental to dealing with teenagers in a friendly manner to discuss any problems. Moreover, it also needs to establish clear boundaries between parents and teens by using assertive modes of communication.

Some ways to enhance parent-teen relationships are the following:  

- Parents have to remain calm to deal with any problem or situation

- It's very important to listen to teens

- Maintain healthy boundaries

- Parents need to be clear with their children about the dangers of the real world
