How can you use the MyPlate diagram to help you with a one-dish meal or salad instead of a separated meal like it depicts?
A. Since a salad will be vegetable heavy, be sure you are adding lots of fruits, proteins and grains in order to balance it out, even if it becomes a larger meal
B. Remember it is a guide only and make up for missed portions later in the day
C. Use the percentages to monitor the makeup of the dish
D. Avoid these meals choices and opt of a more separate and balanced meal
