If someone I know has suffered from sexual abuse and is depressed how do I show them that I'm there for them and will help them through the aftermath?

it will very much be a help to them cuz I am a survivor of abuse and sexual abuse and depression is very much help with my friend you know talk to me so yeah talk them talk with them and tell them you're there

When this somone is in this phase of depression because they were sexual abused they are very fragile. One of the ways you can be there for them is by listening to them. Listen to how the feel and what they say about things. 2. Try to understand them. 3. try to comfort them in any way possible. 4. do things with them that used to make them happy or laugh. 5. if you promise them that you are going to be there for them be there for them. if they say that they are fine or ok and you don't think that they are... trust your gut.
