2. Diseases:

Diseases that contribute to local poverty are those related to mental health, addiction to illicit substances and alcoholism, epidemic diseases such as malaria.

3. Absence of educational policies:

Education is essential for the development and professional training for individuals to have better living and working conditions.

4. Absence of public policies:

When there is no investment in public policies for the entire society, there is an increase in social inequality, crime, informality and poverty.

Therefore, poverty must be fought with policies focused on the social and environmental development of a society, preserving human rights and offering equal conditions for human development.
