Is emotional eating the same as an eating disorder?

If it is eating to the, like, EXTREME and it is done over and over an over than I would say, yes.

Explanation:

Binge and emotional eating aren’t necessarily two separate and distinct processes.  Instead, they are one process that occurs on a continuum. We can relatively clearly identify the end of the continuum when it is a diagnosable eating disorder.
