setting up a plan to follow. having motivation and reasons to follow throughhave good people around you who are able to help you through your processes.understand that you have a problem and don't be ashamed to ask for helpremind your self consantly and realistically where you would be if you were/continued taking the substance.remind yourself the things you want to do and why having an addiction is not apart of your plans
