What is the scouting movement? what are its purposes?

This movement non-political, open to all regardless of gender, origin, race or creed, is to contribute to the development of young people by helping them achieve their physical capabilities, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials as individuals or citizens.

An epidemic is a large and localized outbreak of a sickness or disease.  a pandemic is a large global outbreak of a sickness or disease.
