Though typically it shows her life, inside and outside of the hospital she works in, it also shows the relationship between her fellow co-workers and seniors. Many episodes show how the staff learns to respect not only the people but the choices they make as well.

For example, the seniors learn to appreciate the efforts put by the interns who work there instead of dismissing them for being mere interns.
