Ihave to get a cavity filled today for the first time!

how much does it hurt (from your experience) to get a *small* cavity filled compared to a larger one? also, what is the general process of doing it?

Explanation:

I have had like 6 cavities filled, and its pretty straight forward. They start by putting numbing jelly (idk the real name), and then they drill off the rotten part of your tooth, then they fill it up with cement.

You won't really feel pain, but the numbness of your jaw will make you drool.

i think it's the first one because doctors aren't the ones who get rid of the old needles. most of them time it's not even doctors who give you shots, it's nurses.
