The substances that go through a transfusion but on the other hand, do not pass through an infusion are blood and blood products.

Infusion simply means when fluids which includes drugs, are put in the bloodstream of a person. Transfusion and infusion is used in the introduction of nutrients, medicines and blood into the body of a person.  It should be noted that the main difference that exist between transfusion and infusion is that transfusion introduces blood into the body while infusion introduces solution into the human body.In conclusion, blood and blood products are the substances that go through a transfusion but on the other hand, do not pass through an infusion.
