Vaccines are made of mixtures that contain either parts of pathogens or whole pathogens that prepare the body's defenses to fight against the pathogens.
When we injected vaccines to our body, it will enhance our immune system to handle a specific type of pathogen that enters our body so we don't get contaminated.

A vaccine is a substance that helps protect against a particular infection. The body fights infections using the immune system. Each vaccine contains a small amount of the disease germ (virus or bacteria) or parts of the germ. For examples are the measles virus and pertussis (whooping cough) bacteria.
