Productivity in the workplace is very important. When a company has a high turnover rate, this will decrease productivity in a workplace. When a company is short staffed the workload will not get done as fast as having a full staff. When there is a high turnover, new workers must be trained and will be slower than the seasoned workers. This will make the whole line slow and production will be down, if in a manufacturing company.
