Although a lot of discoveries and advancements have been made in the medical world which have the potential to prolong the life span of man, but these have not been able to reduce the number of deaths due to lifestyle diseases because people refuse to adopt healthy life styles such as eating the right diet, exercising, not smoking, maintaining normal weight, etc. Lifestyle diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, etcare still responsible for large number of deaths today.
