Actually I think what the previous answerer was trying to state was that obesity is more prevalent among the ethnic groups of blacks and Latinos and also more prevalent in lower socioeconomic classes. However I do not agree that obesity is more proportionate in women than men and I also do not see that it is relevant to your question which asks only about ethnic groups
