Does metabolism effect your sleep, and could it be a possible cause of insomnia?

I would say yes. Insomnia is caused by nutritional deficiencies. The deficiencies are caused by poor quality foods, poor digestion, and poor elimination.
If someone’s metabolism is exceedingly overactive, it means that a person is using the energy they receive from food (calories) much more quickly than others, it is common for people with an overactive metabolism to lack nutrients hence they process nutrients faster than normal.
People with an under-active metabolism use the energy from food much slower, hence many people with this diagnosis have health issues as well. A common side effect of both overactive metabolism and under-active metabolism is insomnia.

I would say yes because they way the body works if not everything is working the way it’s supposed to it can affect the other parts of your body
