*The integumentary system (tegmentum meaning cover) represents a biological tissue lying between the internal and external environment. it provides a protective function.
*An organ is called "sense organ" when its action results in a sensory perception. In humans, the eyes, nose, tongue, ears, and skin are the sensory organs of the body. The sense organs are associated with the integumentary system to receive the information from the environment and can transmit it to the endocrine system through the nervous system, and by the way, hormones will be secreted depending on what the sense organs percieves (fear, pleasure, astonishment)

It is a functional imaging technique that consists of administering a radioactive tracer to the patient and then detecting the radiation emitted. The examinations carried out are scintigraphy (gamma radiation emission) or PET (PET: Positron Emission Tomography) examinations.
