Identify, break down, and define five medical terms relevant to the endocrine system and five medical terms relevant to the lymphatic system.

Lymphatic System:
1. Splenomegaly
Splen/o/ - refers to the spleen
/megaly - denotes enlargement of a body part

Splenomegaly is the abnormal enlargement of the spleen that can be caused by infection or other diseases. 

2. Lymphoma
Lymph/ - refers to the lymph
/oma - refers to tumor or mass

Lymphoma is a type of cancer that affects the lymphatic system. It attacks the lymphocyte that play a big role in the immune system. 

3. Lymphocytes
Lymph/o/ - refers to the lymph.
/cytes - means cells.

Lymphocytes are a type of white blood cells that occur in the lymphatic system. They are small and have a round nucleus. 

4. Lymphedema
Lymph/ - refers to the lymph.
/edema - denotes swelling.

Lymphedema is a disorder that is characterized by the build-up of lymph fluid under the skin. It usually results from the removal of a lymph node or damage. 

5. Splenectomy
Splen/o/ - refers to the spleen
/ectomy - surgical removal

Splenectomy is the surgical removal of the spleen. The spleen can be removed partially or completely.  The spleen functions as a filter of the blood. It also helps fight infection. 

Endocrine system:

1.  Thyroidectomy
Thyroid/ - refers to the thyroid
/ectomy - means surgical removal

Thyroidectomy is the surgical removal of the thyroid gland. 

2. Pancreatitis
Pancrea/ - refers to the pancreas
/itis- denotes inflammation

Pancreatitis is the inflammation of the pancreas. There are two types of pancreatitis. Acute pancreatitis, is the sudden inflammation of the pancreas that typically lasts for a short time. Chronic pancreatitis is characterized by the long-lasting inflammation of the pancreas. 

3. Hypoglycemia
Hypo/ - denotes a deficiency
Glyc/ -  refers to sugar or glucose
/emia -  blood condition

Hypoglycemia is a condition that is characterized by low glucose levels in the blood, or in other words, low blood sugar levels. It is commonly associated with diabetes.

4. Hyperthyoidism

Hyper/ - means above or excess
Thyroid - refers to the thyroid
/ism - refers to a process, or condition

Hyperthyroidism is a condition where the thyroid gland releases too much thyroid hormone. It is also referred to as overactive thyroid. This condition can significantly increase the metabolism of the body.

5. Hyponatremia

Hypo/ - denotes a deficiency
Natr/ - means sodium 
/emia - means blood condition

Hyponatremia is a condition where there is an abnormally low concentration of sodium in the blood.  Hyponatremia occurs when the sodium in the body becomes diluted.
