You make flyers and brochures letting people know the dangers and risks of certain health issues [I.e. substance abuse] and you also let them know about treatment programs and you show the benefits , you also make them aware of support groups [In the case of eating disorders and cancer patients] 

Starvation is bad because it makes your body unhealthy. if you don’t have a healthy diet you can age faster or even die before you’re 30.
