Here are 3 institutions that have different campaigns established to address gender inequality, rights of people living with hiv and aids, violence against women and children.

COMMISSION FOR GENDER EQUALITY (CGE)
Established by the South African government with the role of leveraging state accountability on gender equality obligations and commitment. Its powers and functions of CGE are set out in Commission on Gender Equality Act, Act 39 of 1996 Section 11.

Southern African Development Community (SADC) Gender Unit
"A region that recognises, embraces and uplifts the fundamental importance of equal opportunities for all people regardless of their sex." - Their vision.

"To eliminate all forms of discrimination against women and girls through gender mainstreaming and women’s empowerment in all SADC structures and institutions" - Their mssion.

SONKE GENDER JUSTICE 
"a world in which men, women and children can enjoy equitable, healthy and happy relationships that contribute to the development of just and democratic societies." - Their vision.

"Sonke works across Africa to strengthen government, civil society and citizen capacity to promote gender equality, prevent domestic and sexual violence, and reduce the spread and impact of HIV and AIDS." - What they do.
