Using the data from the table of Question 11 on you lab instructions, determine if the following statement is true or false. The magnitude of the Sun's declination is equal to the magnitude of the latitude of the most direct rays of the sun on Earth. In addition, the sign of the declination will give you the hemisphere of the most direct rays. A negative declination for the sun will correspond to the most direct rays of the sun being in the southern hemisphere. The latitude of the least direct rays will be in the opposite hemisphere from the hemisphere of the most direct rays. By subtracting the magnitude of the declination from 90 degrees you can determine the magnitude of the latitude of the least direct rays.
