Different between Producers and Decomposers​

Food is made with the use of energy and inorganic chemicals. Food is consumed by consumers through the consumption of producers or other living beings. Decomposers are creatures that decompose dead organisms and other organic wastes, releasing inorganic chemicals into the environment.

Producers generate new material using energy from non-biological sources (e.g. sunlight). Consumers get energy by eating other life-forms. Decomposers get their energy from eating dead life-forms or the waste of still-living life-forms.
