It is very common for people to adopt and remain practicing a religion that they grew up with, their parent’s/coaches’ belief, or the common religion of their land/country. Explain why it is important to learn about other cultures and religions

It is important to study their culture to understand them. Some may act different and some might look different and it’s your way to understand why they do certain things for example sacrificing, rituals etc. and who knows in the future you might interact with someone with different beliefs and you might enjoy that persons time cause you understand them.
