All of these records are primary sources. Now, think about your own life for a moment. What primary sources could you create that would give a historian insight into your life? Are there some that don’t require the Internet? Do you draw or paint? Do you keep a journal or a scrapbook? Have you saved any favorite toys from your childhood? Do you have a bicycle, a skateboard, or a backpack that is special to you?

Write down three to four items that you think may be good primary sources for information on your life. Choose different types of sources. In a few sentences, write about why each item is a good source.
