Carbonic acid is one of the main mechanisms for the formation of features. The karst landscape has a variety of small features and these include the sinkholes, limestone payments, cave pillars, stalactites, and stalagmites. Hazards associated with the karst landscape are erosion by rivers, sinkholes, and hollow holes and Karst wells, etc. The relations between the groundwater and surface water are water quality and quantity. The subsurface layer creates a filter and cleans water from other impurities.
