How has this virus affected the economy?

The Coronavirus has effected the economy in numerous ways. Jobs that aren't essential are being closed down and millions of people all over the world are losing their jobs.

Explanation:

In many countries, the governments are making new laws to give stimulus money to workers that have lost their jobs. In the United States, taxpayers are getting $1,200 for each adult in the household and $500.00 per child in the home. This is to help pay the bills that families have and keep their homes since they have been impacted by the virus.

The small businesses that are not essential are losing their only income and unable to pay the bills that are due. They are also unable to pay the workers which causes the owners to lay them off.
