The very first recorded case of a geocentric universe originates from around the sixth century BCE. It was during this time Pre-Socratic thinker Anaximander proposed a cosmological framework where a round and hollow Earth was held on high at the focal point of everything.  As per the geocentric model, the Sun, stars, Moon and planets all orbits the Earth.
