Sedimentary rocks that are formed due to the accumulation of sediments that are derived from the deposition of small particles and their cementation of minerals and organic particles in the seafloor by the impact of various geological and earth processes like the wind, water, and glacier erosion.  Earth's crust is covered by 73% of sedimentary rocks and about 8% of the total crustal surface.
