A.Darien Wilderness: (1) Colombia

The Darien wilderness is a jungle and swampy territory that has prevented connecting the north and south of the American continent by road. It is one of the most biodiverse areas in the world.

B.Guayas River: (2) Ecuador

It is a river that is born in front of the city of Guayaquil and is considered one of the most important in Ecuador. Because of its flow, it is a navigable river. Throughout the river basin, there is a variety of flora and fauna. However, it has been diminished by the presence of projects and developments for the export of wood.

C.Orinoco River: (4) Venezuela

This river is born in Venezuelan territory and is one of the longest in Latin America. It has an extension of 2140 kilometers, and a width that corresponds to 5 km.  

D.Tepuis: (3) Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana

The tepuis are solid formations generally flattened that have vertical walls. These rock formations characterize the geography of the so-called Guiana Shield. This geographical region occupies much of the territory of Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana.
