Which season is most likely for hurricanes

The Atlantic hurricane season is a time when most tropical cyclones are expected to develop across the northern Atlantic Ocean.

Fall is most likely the season for hurricanes. This is because hurricanes gain its dangerous strength from wind speeds. In fall  wind speeds are at there highest as the weather is preparing for cold temperatures (winter).
