when hamlet says that “there’s a divinity which shapes our ends…” what he means is that there is a god that is control of our destiny.  this can be discerned because of how god is considered to be divine and how “ends” can be defined as the final point of our existence or inevitability of a predetermined future, which would, of course, be determined (or shaped) by god/a divinity.

the god   the goddess of salt water, of fresh water   yet more powerful and perfect.
