Create an outline for this thesis statement: “a teenager interested in being among the nearly 8 million teens who hold part-time employment should use the following tips to find job leads.” use the following pieces in the outline: signs, personal contacts, internet ads, family members, employer leads, school counselor, friends, employment agencies, trusted adults.

The outline should be based on one of familiarity. The most likely form would be from one of familiarity to one of less familiar. Group together the closest, most trusted and most personal to the more anonymous, less trusted and less well-known. As such a likely first group would be family members and friends, a second group would be school counselor, personal contacts, trusted adults, employer leads and the third most unknown group would be signs, Internet ads and employment agencies. Depending on perception, some of the second group could be moved into the first like personal contacts and/or trusted adults.
