When we see the first sentence the word nature is clearly used to describe the obvious. We as people all want to be free, or at least to feel that way. In the second sentence, the word nature is used with a negative connotation, and with the use of the word some it gives it some variability. Meanwhile, in the first sentence, the word stands to make an obvious statement the second want does not give that evident feel. It implies that this will to be free might have a big spectrum and a different meaning for each individual.
