I would like to be good at soccer. I haven't played before, but if I got the chance, I'd like to be the best player out there. I want to be good at this one sport because I usually don't like sports, but I seem to love soccer, tennis, and golf. I am already good at tennis and golf, so I chose soccer. I might even sign up next year.

Kendo is a Japanese martial art performed with gu (equipment). According to the All Japan Kendo Federation, the purpose of practicing kendo is to learn the nature of ken, as well as the spirit of the samurai.

Kendo is one of the oldest Japanese martial arts that originates from the Budo tradition. in Budo, "do" means a path or way to develop oneself through self-defense training. Kendo not only teaches physical sword techniques but also teaches the philosophy inherited from Budo. At Kendo, we can develop strong souls, positive outlooks and beliefs and ways of mutual respect.

Kendo is done by wearing body armor, as well as weapons which are replicas of swords made of bamboo, or called shinai, which are used to attack opponents. Kendo is said to train the body and soul from the techniques taught.

Kendo is not an easy "sport" because kendo is self-defense and prioritizes self-improvement to improve self-quality by training the body and soul. In addition to increasing alertness and technical ability, kendo also teaches not to forget respect for others despite enemies.

Kendo (Keiko) training consists of a variety of goals for self-improvement. Like other martial arts, kendo requires high discipline and full dedication to practice, such as ethics (religion), body posture and stepping techniques, and how to swing the sword correctly.
