Read this passage: the city has put on a film festival every may for the past five years. however, it is time for the film festival to stop. every year, crowds arrive and mess up our city. i can't stand it anymore. others will say that the festival is a very popular tourist event and provides a huge source of revenue for the city, which is why local businesses have signed a petition supporting it. however, i'm sure you agree it isn't worth it. which statement  best  describes the author's use of a claim and a counterclaim in the passage? a. the passage does not contain a valid claim.   b. the counterclaim is supported by strong evidence.   c. the passage does not include a counterclaim.   d. the author's claim is supported by strong evidence.
