Based on  the excerpt from allen ginsberg’s poem ‘homework’, he used repetition to reinforce his idea that  man-made disasters are a result of modern technology. ginsberg was referring to the oil spill, continuous oil extraction, and the continuous production of harmful chemical wastes that had several adverse effects to man and the environment.
